Vivien is one of our favorite account executives back in Ogilvy days. Last Sunday was her wedding. Of course, being in advertising, despite weeks of scheduling and planning, I still had to work the whole weekend for clients on her wedding date. When I finally finished with everything, I rushed over, and all I saw was… an empty ballroom. Luckily, the Bride and Groom were still saying goodbyes to the last table leaving. I handed my red envelope, took a cupcake, stuffed it down my mouth, and realizing waiters cleared everything, including beverages, so I rushed off… looking for water.
Ah… Advertising, this is why you end up with no friends…
