Kitchen Salvadore, Seoul
Mike took me to The Kitchen Salvadore. Here I am ordering up a storm. The place is a Japanese owned Italian chain, in fact I think there’s a kitchen salvadore in Shanghai though I’ve never been. Simple food, good conversation, It was a very good night.

Brian McKenna – The Courtyard
This restaurant sits right next to forbidden city, in a quaint little half court yard. Despite the whole fancy display of their skills in molecular gastronomy, I felt the food is quite earnest. Their loaf is freshly baked, their vegies look freshly picked, I just sat in my chair and pigged out.

Glen Beijing
Tucked away in a dim lit, uninviting office building somewhere around san li tun, I discovered this bar called “Glen” that does fantastic mix drinks, mostly martinis. The bottles made me wish I could drink like Draper that night.
