Blue Valentine

A love movie typically is a story of a spark, you have a man and woman right, and they’re the catalysts for the spark, and these “sparks” varies infinitely and often get stretched into most of a 90-minute-run. Blue Valentine is very interesting because the film maker dedicates the movie to depict the death of a spark, how it withers with a determination and nothing could keep it alive, just as nothing can keep it from lit. To think this dying moment has the potential of being just as interesting and beautiful as two people falling in love, takes courage. Kudos director Derek Cianfrance
