obviously, a picture is worth thousand words...

Mandy and her friends / ex colleagues invited me to watch Harry Potter together at the famous Chao Yang Theater. The theater for me was one of those things in life you kind of missed by accident. It showcases acrobat performances regularly and is now a stop for Beijing first timers. I vaguely remember watching these kind of performances as a little kid, I can even recall the images of boys and girls jump through rings of fire and tuck them selves neatly in to a cylinder, but I just never got taken to that particular one. Even the Simpsons went. Imagining watching Simpsons the movie in Chao Yang Park.... Too bad China won't release that :-/. Anyways, thanks Mandy and Xiao S for the invite.

O, right the movie. It was horribly dubbed, and the Chinese Harry Potter can't pronounce "Hogwards" "Hermoine" nor "Dumbledore". There 's one scene where proffessor Dumbledore has to state his full name, 20 some sylibols were atrotiously pronounced by the voice actor and made me have goose-bumps. Other than that, its an above average that lost its edge abit, I think people are a bit tired of seeing season changes in Hogwards, Monsters in the forests and magic wand tricks after 5 years of it. I did enjoy friends companies though, haven't had that in a while, quite refreshing, watching Mandy and Xiao S together is like watching a pair of cute 12 year olds, they get giddy and cute on everything. Hehe, sorry girls, its true.
