小男孩给爷爷电话：爷爷，这几天老师有事，不用上课，你陪我玩吧
爷爷给秘书电话：我这几天要陪孙子玩,不能去北京了.
秘书给老公电话：这几天老总有急事,我们不去北京开会了.
老公给情人电话：这几天不能出来玩,我老婆不去北京了.
情人给辅导功课的小男孩电话：这几天继续正常上课.
小男孩给爷爷电话：爷爷，这几天还是要上课，我不能陪你玩了.
爷爷给秘书电话：这几天我还是带你去北京走走的.你准备下.

A single female friend of mine (SFF): Have you got any Christmas songs?

Me: Hmm.. Lisa Ono's, I like her.

(SFF): I've got that, I like her too.

Me: Are we still going to that cheese place today?

(SFF): No, sorry, I haven't gotten you a date yet.

(SFF): You have any good singles?

Me: Well, I do if you do, ;-)

(SFF): -_-, I mean the songs.

Me: O.haha.

I will put things I've heard that I think its interesting here. For this first entry, I have a short phone conversation I thought was quite interesting.

Setup: Person A is a 24year old retail girl. Person B is one of the upper management from Viacomm, who happens to become friends with this girl, no sexual tension, just genuine friends. She (Person B) also is interested in hiring her.

This conversation happened within days of their newly found friendship.

Conversation happened outside of XinGuang plaza Beijing

Person A: 我们店这周末晚上有一个酒会。你想参加吗？ ( We're having a cocktail party this weekend, would you like to come? )

Person B: 哦，这周末啊，我没有时间，我有一个跟英国首相的晚餐。 ( O, this weekend, I have to have dinner with the prime minister of UK )

Person A: 哦，那好吧。 ( O, Thats ok then )
