The concept of Earth Hour is simple. Everybody shut off their lights for one hour on a chosen day around the world. Not surprisingly, I think this was attempted by the Americans during the 70s once, and everyone just simply ignored it then. This year however, a lot of major cities took part, including Boston. On a foggy night, on March 28th, Boston shut off its light from 8:30 to 9:30pm. The view from Charlestown was pretty astonishing, the skyline disappeared completely. However, once I got to MIT, I didn't see a whole lotta changes. Come on Boston, lets get with it, we need to do better next year!
