Over the week, I enjoyed two brilliant anime films. Tekkonkinkreet is from the same people that made that cool tokyo piece in Animatrix, and Gedo Senki is made be Miyazaki's son Goro Miyazaki. I won't go into details on explaining what they're about, you can easily find their synopsis's online. One thing I loved, and the japanese are always good at, is this bit in Gedo Senki, where the girl is singing in an open grassland, just into the air, without instruments, very moving.
