First impression of Chicago.

Chicago is a cleaner version of Manhattan. I can't help to think of it as a LA version of Manhattan in some way. Streets are wider, Trains are cleaner, and Parks are newer. I am glad I made this trip, because I love walking in a pedestrian friendly city, by that I mean a city with a well developed public transportation system. LA and Beijing deprives me of that. Thanks to Adam for the invitation, I am glad that I've made this trip.

Ghery's work in Chicago

If you're ever in Chicago you gotta take the archetecture boat tour. This is Marina City.

Another shot.

IBM building AKA Mies van der Rohe temple, hehe.

Sears tower and the Gotham Corp building in Batman Returns.

Unknown building.

Walking along michican ave, I found this massive Iron work on a Louis Sullivan building, notice the nice LHS monogram on the left and right corner.

Having a drink with Glenn and Adam, here's glen.

Here's Adam.

Having a late lunch with Renee and Adam, on top of John Hancock Center. Here's Renee.

View from John Hancock Center. I can't believe how flat the land is.

View of the Wrigley Field from Addison train stop.

Inside of the Wrigley Field, we watched the Cubs vs Red Sox game, Cubs lost. :/

dude. chicago's way more historic!
Grant Park: officially completed in 1844.
Central Park: officially completed in 1873.
But yeah, ok. Millenium Park is newer than them all. I'm glad you enjoyed it all.
